Artemis Continues Expansion into Cannabis and Hemp Markets - Opens New Office in Denver
Company’s regional expansion signals strong demand by growers for comprehensive traceability, task management, and regulatory compliance solutions
Artemis, the leading enterprise Cultivation Management Platform (CMP), today announced it opened a new office in Denver, Colorado. The new location will help Artemis strengthen its relationships with clients and partners in Colorado's thriving legal cannabis industry which surpassed $1 billion in revenue in 2019.
The new office adds to its personnel presence in key cannabis and hemp markets across the U.S. including California, Washington, Oregon, New York, New Jersey, Tennessee, Texas, Pennsylvania and Ontario, Canada. In tandem with its strategic expansion into cannabis and hemp, Artemis recently announced its official state-approved integration with Metrc for California's recreational cannabis market, joining its approval in Montana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio, Oregon, and Colorado, with plans for certification in other states.
"Cannabis and hemp growers that are well positioned with technology and data to both optimize operations and meet regulatory standards will have a marked advantage. We see great opportunity ahead for us as a leading provider and hub for these industry solutions," said Allison Kopf, CEO of Artemis. "We had a major uptick in our cannabis and hemp business in 2019 and are dedicating significant time and resources to expand further into both of these burgeoning industries across North America."
"Colorado's strong market foothold in legal cannabis and leadership in compliance controls has created a robust and growing ecosystem of cultivators and industry-related service providers. Denver was a natural next place to set up a base of operations that will open doors to significant new business and enable us to better serve and work closely with our existing local clients and strategic partners," added Jonathan Schmitz, Vice President of Business Development for Artemis.
Artemis is committed to broadening its network of industry professionals in an effort to match the best solutions for each of its customers' challenges.
